ACC Written Exam

Candidates can enter the Indian Army as officers through the Army Cadet College (ACC).ACC Written Exam is conducted twice a year by Military Training Directorate to recruit candidates in the Indian Army. ACC Written exam consist of General Mental Ability Test, Current and General Awareness Test, Interactive communicative English and Academic Content test. Once candidates pass the ACC Written Exam, then they will go for SSB of 5 days.

ACC Written Exam Eligibility Criteria

To appear in the ACC Written Exam, candidates should pass all the eligibility criteria:-

Sex-Male/Female

Marital Status-Married and Unmarried both can  apply

Age Limit-20- 27 years

Educational Qualification-

  • 10+2 Passed as equivalent(in any stream)
  • Candidates should have qualified ACC written test.

General Mental Ability Test

General Mental Ability Test comprises of 150 objective questions. And contains three parts of worth two marks each.

Current General Awareness

Current General Awareness Test comprises of 150 questions of worth two marks each. General Awareness includes questions of Current general situations and military Knowledge.

Interactive Communicative English

Interactive Communicative English Test comprises of 150 questions and contains two parts. Parts 1 will consist of 120 objective questions and Part 2 consist of 30 Descriptive questions.

Academic Content Test

Academic Content Test comprises of 150  objective questions  with three marks each and consist of three subject.

ACC(Army Cadet College) Entry is an entry  through which candidates can enter the  Indian Army as an officers. Candidates have to pass ACC Written exam conducted by Military Training Directorate.
