The result is based only on the performance in the written examination held by UPSC.
Candidates whose roll numbers appear in the published list are now shortlisted for the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview.
The outcome of the medical examination is not included at this stage.
The candidature of all recommended candidates is provisional, pending verification of documents such as age, educational qualifications and other certificates by the Additional Directorate General of Recruiting.
