Air Force Common Admission test (AFCAT) Training

For all entries other than NDA and CDSE and for all branches, candidates have to undergo the AFCAT.

The test is conducted twice a year in February and September

Advertisements inviting applications for AFCAT are out in June and December. Candidates are to apply as per the advertisement.

The test is conducted across India by the Indian Air Force

SCHEME OF SYLLABUS

The AFCAT Question Paper will have 100 questions. All questions will be of three marks each. It follows negative marking system. For every correct answer, the candidate will get three marks and for every wrong answer one mark will be deducted under negative marking. The total time allotted for the paper is two hours.

AFCAT Eligibility Criteria for Men & Women – The Indian Air Force has invited the candidates for the AFCAT i.e. Air Force Common Admission Test. The candidates going to apply for the post must know the Eligibility criteria of the AFCAT . for checking whether they are eligible or not. The Eligibility criteria is different for the separate gender. The candidates can check the eligibility below -.

AFCAT Eligibility Criteria for Men & Women – Details
Eligibility for FLYING BRANCH –

Age Limit: 19 to 23 years for men and women

Educational Qualifications: Graduates in any discipline or BE / B Tech degree from a recognized University with at least 60% marks aggregated
Min. height: 162.5 cms
Weight: Correlated weight

Eligibility for TECHNICAL BRANCHES –
(i) Educational Qualification –

For Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) {AE (L)} – The candidate has 4 years degree qualification from a recognized Institution or passed Sections A and B exam of AMIE India or Aeronautical Society of India or Graduate membership examination of the Institute of Elec. and Telecom. Engineers by actual studies.

For Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical) {AE (M)} – The aspirants must have 4 years degree qualification from a recognized institution or passed Sections A and B examination of AMIE India or Aeronautical Society of India by actual studies.

(ii) Physical Standards –
